We’ve become well acquainted with A Villa Gail in Yorkeys Knob, just north of Cairns, over the last 12 or so months & weddings at this beautiful European vibes venue have gotten really popular for couples who want a venue with accommodation and multiple beautiful spaces to celebrate, have a Ceremony & photos - all in the same place. The design of this property is like nothing else in the region and we’ve loved every second of shooting here!

The Elopement Highlights Film.

They finished their intimate ceremony with a first dance as husband and wife, to the beautiful sound of the violin.

We adored making use of every inch of A Villa Gail’s beautiful outdoor areas. From the top & bottom balconies, to the sunlit bougainvillaea tree, and getting creative with light & shadows with the drone was something we rarely have time & space to do & so we excitedly giggled our way through the afternoon while Lana & Dylan danced away & soaked up all the love-filled energy of their most special day.

This european inspired elopement took place 

We arrived shortly before Lana was getting into her dress in preparation for their very intimate ceremony out on the balcony overlooking the sea. Lana & Dylan wanted to get married but didn’t want the fuss of a big guest list at their wedding, yet they of course love a chance to party, so they opted for a sneaky ceremony the week before their “engagement party” turned “we got married!” Surprise.
