Alycia & Slade's intimate wedding day in Port Douglas was nothing short of magic! This wedding was a super special one too as it was the first wedding we shot after launching Collide! A & S had booked us separately as Jade Films & Katie Purling photography & so we were super excited to shoot our first day as an official duo.

Our morning started off super chill with preparations for each Alycia & Slade, both had a really easy going morning and we had a great time getting some shots in the hotel rooms with them and a few of their loved ones.

The intimate Ceremony was on the deck of the Sugar Wharf. Lots of unique little elements were included in the Ceremony that really personalised it and made guests feel really special and included. The Grandparents spoke a reading, guests passed the rings around to warm them with their blessing before they were exchanged, there was a golden ticket certificate witness & a mutual friend who they met through was the one to first pronouce them husband and wife!

After the Ceremony we captured some magic shots amongst a beautiful sunset, popping champagne and enjoying the area while guests stayed back for cocktail hour on the wharf.

Upon return A & S kicked off the night with a champagne tour pour which was followed by guests being seated at their table and opening individual hand-written letters that the couple wrote to each guest as an extra special & personal touch.

As the sun went down we left them to enjoy the rest of their night!
